touchIME is enhancing its US presence
Since its inception in 2017, Touch Independent Medical Education (touchIME) has built on more than a decade of medical publishing experience to become a major provider of IME & CME. Our extensive worldwide network services the needs of healthcare professional learners (HCPs) worldwide.
In 2020, following an in-depth audit by the ACCME, touchIME was recognised for meeting the ACCME’s stringent criteria. This qualified us to receive AMA accreditation via the ACCME in partnership with USF Health Office of Continuing Professional Development (USF Health).
Better service for learners and supporters in the USA
touchIME is headquartered in the UK. We enjoy positive relationships with all our supporters worldwide, and many of them are based in the USA. This extension of our global presence will enhance our ability to work with supporters’ US-based grant offices.
- Extending our relationship with USF Health: Our partners on all ACCME accredited activities, USF Health is a well-known ACCME Accreditor.
- Establishing a US-based address in New York: This is the first step to establishing a true footprint in the USA – we expect to establish a full LLC in 2024.
Ultimately, this move will bring even more exciting educational opportunities to our global network of healthcare professionals by opening the doors for us to obtain a greater diversity of support.
Professor Peter Taylor, Editor-in-Chief for touchIMMUNOLOGY, clarifies the importance of this exciting opportunity:
“We live in an era of unprecedented advance in translational research and clinical care across every branch of medicine, and so the need to keep up to date with accessible, highest quality medical education is higher than ever. touchIME achieves this goal, and now with a US presence, facilitates international knowledge sharing with a commitment to a truly global approach to medical education.”
